WHAT IS IT ?
It's usually considered as a "yeast" = which can be a "fungus" and then a "mold".
Candida is a mold which inhabits the body, generally arising in the colon. However, the word is generally used to refer to when the candida develops into its mold form and has grown out of control. It then begins to create harmful effects within the body.
When you say, "I think I have candida," would mean that you may have developed an overgrowth of the candida mold.

Candida is in everyone's body. In small amounts, Candida is actually helpful to the system. This is because it acts as a natural antibiotic. It helps to control the growth of bacteria. It is also kept in check by these bacteria, forming a balance in the intestine. |
Through the use of antibiotics or swimming, bathing in or drinking chlorinated water, the essential microorganisms in the body are killed off. Molds are used in medicine as antibiotics, to kill off bacteria. These are the same bacteria which help to keep candida in check; when they are killed, the balance is destroyed and Candida thrives!

In order to create a healthy intestine you have to clean the colon of the long term waste which has built up. You will be surprised what lingers in the intestine.

When reestablishing the good bacteria back in the body, it is also important to get all of the chlorine out of your entire water supply. All it takes is one glass of chlorinated water to wipe out the good bacteria you are replacing. Take caution about the ice which you put in your drinks as well, most contain chlorine.
Also, some natural spring water waters are chlorinated so do your homework and find out which ones do not contain chlorine.
Silver and copper are also added to water filters to kill off bacteria. These substances work like an antibiotic and chlorine so make sure your water filter removes all the chlorine and does not add anything antibacterial to the water. Also go through your toiletries and throw away any product that is antibacterial. Inspect soaps, douches, deodorants and liquid hand soaps, etc.
So the idea is to handle candida and to clean the colon.
Candida fights back when you attack it. Some people have burning when they urinate.
DO NOT BACK-OFF ON THE ATTACK.

Eat foods rich in iodine.
If you use an iodine supplement, use it briefly.
Make sure you keep on the attack and that you drink plenty of fluids daily.
